Estos son los mensajes ref mi ciudadanía británica que me dejaron mis amigos oriundos de estas islas. Me encanta cómo se reconocen y se ríen de sí mismos!

That's fab, I'm really pleased for you, Elisa - I told you that you had nothing to worry about! That quiz is quite hard in places - some of the employment law I had no idea about!

Welcome Elisa, it's great to have you as 'one of us'. Now, are you coming to the G2 gig at Farnham Maltings in April? It's what all decent British folk do...

Does that mean you can play football for England now, 'cos we need you? Congrats. (Don't know that many Brits would pass the Life in the UK exam )

Sounds like a challenge to me... http://www.hiren.info/life-in-the-uk-test/1

83% - I can stay...
.
Just scraped in with 75%! And that included some guesses.
.
Congratulations,Eli. Have you started the whinging yet? (Este es de Australia)
.
Oh yeah yeah yeah, that's just not true, typical Antipodean view of what life is like in the fatherland, if Oz is so great why are they all in Earls Court etc etc. Whoops, I guess you're right... (Este es inglés y le contesta al de arriba).
.
You can have all the ones there. BTW- Can you stop Rolf Harris escaping back here all the time?Surely there's another Royal's portrait he could paint? (El Aussie le contestó al inglés jaja).
.
Suits me, we love Rolf!
.
78% with guesses!
.
Congratulations Eli!! A landmark and I'm very happy to hear this. Interestingly, I scored 75% so I can come and visit on my British passport.... (Este es inglés pero vive en Grecia).
.
Thats neat , well done
.
Well done Eli. Though I added to my passport collection by emigrating to Canada, I shall never renounce my British citizenship. The pattern of recent times really does show a world in motion.

Things I miss about England: people tend not to be as presumptuous or as demanding there - they tend to be more situationally literate and more socially adroit; the sight of the green vales and flora in and around Sussex, Leicestershire, Cheltenham and Bath; the smell of the English earth fresh after rainfall or early in the morning when the dew is evaporating.
Things I don't miss about England: crowdedness to an extreme; soaring home prices and plummeting salaries; new-age tyranny in the workplace; not being considered "English" enough by others whose own "English" ancestry is highly questionable; ubiquitous youth violence on the streets; lack of enough snow to indulge in ski-ing inexpensively, etc.
.
Well done Eli, and welcome to Gordon Broon's credit crunch Britain. My Great grandfather renounced allegiance to an earlier Queen of England. He was Welsh, so who could blame him. Fortunately for me, he unrenounced his allegiance and the Queen let him come back.
.
I don't think that online test is for real. Surely, in the real thing, you get asked whether you should put the milk in the teacup first? Or what flashing your car headlights means (tip: it's the opposite to what it means everywhere else!). Or whether it is the done thing to remove someone's beach towel from a hotel sun bed when they deliberately got up earlier than you to put it there? Or whether it's your taxi because you hailed it, or because you got in first? Or whether, if you step slightly out from a queue to pick up another item, you can step back in where you were originally? These are important issues.welcome to Britdom, Elixx
