The London Underground is to run later on Friday and Saturday nights in response to demand from late-night revellers, London mayor Ken Livingstone said yesterday.
He said that from May next year last tube trains would leave central London stations at about 1am instead of the present 12.30am. To allow time for maintenance, services will begin an hour later on Saturdays. The changes will be introduced despite objections from airlines with early flights from Heathrow and from cleaners and other workers who make up a large proportion of early morning passengers at weekends.

Como puse en el título, esta noticia, como a muchos, me da mucha alegría, ya que salir en Londres de noche es un chino sino tenés auto ni guita para taxis...obviamente hay bondis toda la noche, los "night bus", pero pasan cada muerte de obispo, y en invierno ni les cuento estar en la parada 1 hora esperando, nada agradable !!! Grande Ken !!!

Bueno, no te queda otra: o hay que comprarse un coche o vete cargándote obispos para que los buses pasen más a menudo.
Oye, que la palabra buses viene de bus, no de los hermanitos George y Jef. Ejem ejem.
